RAM Solutions, Inc. is a proud contributor to the AWS Detroit Section 11 Scholarship Fund to help students with college expenses leading toward a welding degree.

This year the AWS Detroit Section has awarded 40 welding scholarships totaling $61,000. These scholarships are made available to Michigan residents and/or students enrolled in welding or welding-related programs at a college or university in the State of Michigan, as well as the following counties in the province of Ontario; Essex, Chatham-Kent, and Sarnia-Lambton.

The candidates submitted an application, including transcripts of their academic achievement, a brief letter about their background, their goals and ambitions, and any additional factors that would help the Section Scholarship Committee determine eligibility for an award. The 40 recipients of the 2022 – 2023 Scholarships will be attending the following colleges:

• Ferris State University
• Oakland Community College
• University of Michigan-Dearborn
• Washtenaw Community College
• Wayne State University
